Brandi Glanville describes her harshest words against LeAnn Rimes

Brandi Glanville is feeling just a little bit bad about the shots she takes at country singer LeAnn Rimes in her new book, “Drinking and Tweeting,” though anyone who’s followed their flaming feud might find that hard to swallow.

“I feel bad about some of the things I have to say. I do have a conscience,” says the 40-year-old star of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” who lost her husband, Eddie Cibrian, to Rimes.

“Then it’s like, f— it, let’s put it in the book. We did take some things out for legal reasons, though.”
A quick recap: In 2009, Glanville was married to Cibrian, whom she refers to as a “little-known, made-for-television-movie” actor.

He went off to make the made-for-television movie “Northern Lights” with Rimes, who was also married. The two started a feast-for-the-gossip-columns affair that ended in their marrying.

In her book, Glanville describes Rimes “accidentally” smearing cake frosting on her top during a couples’ dinner before the breakup, and even though she was “still a bigger girl and completely flat-chested at the time,” inviting Cibrian to lick it off.

“Couldn’t it at least have been Cindy Crawford?” she muses. “If that were the case, I might have asked to join the party. But no, it was a has-been country-music singer.”

Glanville says she was left close to penniless, though she did charge a $12,000 vaginal rejuvenation to Cibrian’s credit card. More on that later. She was a no-name former model who had to endure Rimes tweeting pictures like one of a cozy Christmas Eve dinner with Cibrian and Glanville’s two sons with him, Mason, now 9, and Jake, 5.

And so a Twitter war started.

“She had my family,” Glanville says flatly. “Even grandmothers hate her for tweeting those pictures.”

It was during a downward spiral after the ugly divorce, during which she consumed copious amounts of white wine, that she decided to have her vajayjay done pretty. Glanville says it was someone in Rimes’ camp who leaked word of the procedure, after an enraged Cibrian disputed the charge.

Another outrageous twist was that her former father-in-law, with whom she remained close, drove her to the procedure.

“It was just so wrong, in so many ways. I wasn’t in a 100% right frame of mind. But I needed to do a master cleanse, in a big way,” she says now.

“Besides, even if no one talks about it, it’s the new boob job. Everyone’s going in to tighten up.”

While flailing about desperately to make a living, she discovered the upside of a celebrity stealing your husband. Gossip outlets were willing to pay for interviews with her that led to live-event fees and finally the “Housewives” gig.

There, she promptly engaged in successive feuds, the latest with Adrienne Maloof, a member of the powerful and wealthy Maloof clan with sports and casino interests. This season, Glanville blurted out a Maloof family secret so incendiary that Bravo bleeped it. Glanville claims she had to hire a lawyer to defend her from legal retribution from Maloof.

Glanville giggles. “I was just excited to be on the cover. I’m thrilled. It doesn’t matter what it says — I have never been on the cover before. That’s great. It’s going to help me sell books.”

The fact is, Glanville has become a fan favorite while Maloof’s popularity has plunged. LeAnn Rimes isn’t doing so well either.

Us has Glanville back in its latest issue, with an anonymous claim that she cheated on Cibrian first and has bedded 31-year-old hottie restaurateur Harry Morton (recently linked to another cougar, Demi Moore.)

Glanville denied both reports and says its just Rimes stirring the pot. Recently, Rimes was seen in tears at lunch. The speculation was that she was undone in the face of the coming publication of Glanville’s book, out next Tuesday. Glanville doesn’t see things getting better for Rimes. Not as long as she’s with Cibrian.

“The truth is, this book is not going to help. But I have to do what I have to do.”

And that includes a lengthy depiction of the torrid sex she had with Cibrian after he became involved with Rimes. But it’s not past lovers, or ex-wives, that Rimes should be worried about, according to Glanville.

“I don’t want them to break up. My best revenge is him having to be with her forever.

“But I don’t think that one woman will ever be enough for Eddie. Also, in their relationship, she’s the celebrity. He has taken a back seat for now, but that’s only going to last a while. He sees what she’s doing to their reputation. He’s not stupid.”

Meanwhile, Glanville just keeps on being Brandi, shooting from the lip and somehow getting away with it. She’s dating, though determined not to marry again.

“I’m 100% going to take care of myself from now on. I don’t need to be with someone rich. That’s not a prerequisite. I’ve even dated someone who has a roommate.

“But I would love to share my life with someone. I just don’t want to put it on paper again.”
That’s the case even though she has little idea of where she’s going in life.

“Maybe a talk show? An advice show? Although I’m not sure that I’m the best person to give advice,” she laughs.

“I’m still trying to figure out what is next, but I do know that everything good is going to happen for me.”
