Selena Gomez became the target of a sweatshop protest after she helped kick off New York Fashion Week on Wednesday.
A woman approached the Wizards of Waverly Place star, handed her a flyer and pleaded her to “be an ambassador for children, not sweatshops.” This happened while the teenaged starlet was seated in the front row of the fashion show that features Adidas' NEO line.
